BSCS Program Specifications
The BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE Program includes the study of computing concepts and theories, algorithmic foundations, and new developments in computing. The program prepares students to design and create algorithmically complex software and develop new and effective algorithms for solving computing problems. The program also includes the study of the standards and practices in Software Engineering. It prepares students to acquire the skills and disciplines required for designing, writing, and modifying software components, modules, and applications that comprise software solutions.
VISION
To be a globally recognized leading producer of excellent computer scientists who are committed to serve the community by developing or using computing technologies that preserve and promote the human dignity.
MISSION
provide excellent computer science education to students to help them become globally competitive and adaptive to change;
develop among students the values of serving others by addressing their computing challenges;
engage in computer science research activities in collaboration with local, regional, national and international partners;
implement training programs that allow students and faculty to develop computer science solutions that uphold the dignity of people, and promote and strengthen our Filipino culture and values; and
