BSIS Program Specifications
The BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INFORMATION SYSTEM program includes the study of the application and effect of information technology on organizations. Graduates of the program should be able to implement an information system, which considers complex technological and organizational factors affecting it. These include components, tools, techniques, strategies, methodologies, etc. Graduates are able to help an organization determine how information and technology-enabled business processes can be used as a strategic tool to achieve a competitive advantage. As a result, IS professionals require a sound understanding of organizational principles and practices so that they can serve as an effective bridge between the technical and management/users communities within an organization. This enables them to ensure that the organization has the information and systems it needs to support its operations.

provide excellent information systems education to students to help them become globally competitive and adaptive to change;

implement training programs that allow students and faculty to develop information systems that uphold the dignity of people, and promote and strengthen our Filipino culture and values;
PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Three to four years after graduation, the graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Program shall be able to:
Implement an Information System considering the available technology as well as organizational factors.
Provide technical expertise to organizations in helping them maximize the use of technology in their business processes to achieve a competitive advantage
Engage in professional activities reflecting a profound faith in God, inspired by the spirituality of humble service, and committed to a continuous search for excellence.
